Entabeni Safari Conservancy:

Directions to the Upper Escarpment:
Lakeside Lodge, Ravineside Lodge, Kingfisher lodge and Eagle's Nest.

Take the N1 North Highway from Pretoria to Polokwane (Pietersburg). Keep on the N1 through the Carousel and Kranskop Tollgates. Travel a further 32 km on the N1. Take the Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) R101A offramp/exit (Route 289). Drive 8 km to Mookgopong. Turn left at the second traffic light in town centre (R520) for 11 km until you reach a T-junction. turn left and continue for 500m and turn right at the Marken sign. Keep on the tar road for 24 km. The road becomes a gravel road. Continue on this road for another 21,5 km. You'll see an Entabeni sign on the righthand side. Turn right and drive 3.3 km on a dirt road until you reach the security entrance gate.

Directions to the Lower Escarpment:
Hanglip Mountain Lodge, Wildside Safari Camp and Pedi Cultural Village.

Take the N1 North Highway from Pretoria to Polokwana (Pietersburg). Keep on the N1 through the Carousel and Kranskop Tollgates. Travel a further 32 km on the N1. Take the Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) R101A offramp/exit (Route 289). Drive 8 km to Mookgopong (Naboomspruit). Pass throug the town of Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) on the R101A (29 km) till you reach the Doorndraai, Sterkrivier turnoff (Entabeni Sign). Turn left and continue for 22 km till you reach the Haakdoring turnoff. Turn left and continue for a further 10km on a gravel road till you reach the big Entabeni Private Game Reserve sign on your right-hand side and the security entrance gate.


Entabeni Safari Conservancy has its own landing strip:

Dugong Beach Lodge:

Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the East-African Seaboard, on the coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of "The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary".
 
Scheduled daily flights to Vilanculos International Airport on Pelican Air in pressurized turboprop aircraft take 2 hours from Johannesburg International Airport (JIA) (International Departures counter 55) and one and a half hours from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP).


Chartered flights can be arranged directly into Dugong Beach Lodge.

Royal Legend Safari Lodge & SPA:

Driving Directions from Johannesburg.

Royal Legend is approximately 5 hours drive from Johannesburg.

From Johannesburg (R22), proceed towards Witbank (N4). Exit the N4 at the Belfast intersection, enter the town and turn right at the second stop sign in the direction of Dullstroom (R540). Continue to Lydenburg via Dullstroom. In Lydenburg turn left and take the R36 to Ohrigstad. Continue in the direction of Hoedspruit via the Abel Erasmus Pass and the JG Strijdom Tunnel.

In Hoedspruit at the second four way stop turn right towards Bushbuckridge (R40). Continue for approximately 7 km.Turn left onto the Argyle road (direction Eastgate/Hoedspruit Airport). Continue past the Hoedspruit Airport onto a gravel road until you reach the Timbavati Main Gate. Through the Timbavati Gate turn immediate right and follow the signs to Royal Legend Conservation Fee: R90 per person and R75 per vehicle payable at the gate (subject to change).

- Turn first right at Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa signboard
- Turn right at T-junction; 2km to Jackalberry gate on the left

 

Whalesong Hotel & Hydro:

Driving from Knysna on the N2, turn right (from Port Elizabeth turn left) into Marine Drive at the Shell Ultra City. The security entrance to WhaleSong Hotel & Hydro is situated on the right.

 

Zebra Country Lodge:

Travel on the N1 North (Polokwane) highway through Pretoria East. Take the R513 Wonderboom/ Zambezi/ Cullinan turn-off (Exit 152). At the first traffic light turn right towards Cullinan. Travel 1,2 km to the next traffic light. Turn left on the R573 KwaMhlanga road. Continue for 29,6 km. On your way you will pass the Roodeplaat Dam and the Kloof General Dealer on your right. As the road bends to the right, you will notice a Zebra Country Lodge signboard on your left. Turn left onto this gravel road. Follow the Zebra Country Lodge signs for 2,7 km to the main entrance on your righthand side.
